GB SDA Church

Today is
Pastor Bill Ochs

Hi, I am Bill Ochs, the Senior Pastor for the Green Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church. My friends call me “Willy.” Please consider yourself a friend. I have been happily married to my wife, Gladys, for 30 years. We may not be as old as you think—we married real young. Gladys and I have three children, Jerry, John, and Rachelle, and a very active grandchild named Benjamin. We also have a sassy cat named Oreo.

Gladys and I were converted in our early 20s, and we have been active in some type of ministry for 28 years. When I first became a Christian, I was a high school dropout, and by God's grace I received my Master's Degree in Theology from Andrews University. Not growing up in a “church” has helped us understand firsthand where people are coming from.

I like to bike or walk along the Fox River trail—daily if I can. I love to golf, play racquetball, and take short motorcycle trips with Gladys.

When you visit the Green Bay Church, please introduce yourselves to us. We would love to meet you and hear what God is doing in your life. I know you will discover, as Gladys and I did, that the Green Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church is a warm and friendly place where service, love of the Bible and love for Jesus is of supreme importance. See you soon!

Pastor Jenniffer Ogden

Iam Jenniffer Ogden, the Youth Pastor for the Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay and Fish Creek Churches. It is a pleasure working with a great team of people who love Jesus and live to serve Him. I moved to Green Bay in 2010 and have since met the unofficial state bird of Wisconsin - the mosquito. I have witnessed winter gift us with a record snowfall season and have helped cheer the Packers to Super Bowl success once again.

I attended Pacific Union College (class of '01) where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and later attended Andrews University (class of '10) where I completed a Masters of Divinity. I love working with young people and watching them fall in love with Jesus. The joy of having children (and their families!) become excited and willing to share the Good News is one of the highlights of being a Youth Pastor.

We have an awesome group of about 90 young people (aged 0-18) and would love to have you come and enjoy learning about God with us. Every week we meet at 9:30 a.m. for Sabbath School, we have weekly Pathfinder meetings for our 10- to 15-year-olds, and have a variety of activities scheduled throughout the year.

We hope to be able to meet you soon and hear your story of God leading you!
